Ets2 1.51.1.15 Update

  


The Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) update v1.51.1.15, released on September 26, 2024, introduces several significant improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing both the gameplay experience and visual quality of the game.


Key Features and Updates:


1. Germany Rework: The cities of Bremen, Kassel, Osnabrück, and Magdeburg have been reworked, improving the layout, landmarks, and overall feel. This is part of SCS Software's ongoing effort to refresh older parts of the ETS2 map.



2. Gameplay Enhancements:


The update includes the automatic differential lock and blind spot sensor features, which bring added realism and safety during driving. The differential lock engages automatically when traction is low, improving handling in difficult road conditions. The blind spot sensor offers visual and audio alerts when vehicles are in your blind spots.


Additionally, there are custom city intros for players with the Italia and Beyond the Baltic Sea DLCs. These intros enhance the immersion when arriving at key locations.




3. Visual and Interface Upgrades:


A major improvement in visuals comes with enhanced cabin shadows, especially noticeable during nighttime or when interior lights are on. This adds a more realistic atmosphere inside the truck cabin, especially during nighttime driving.


In the UI, a search bar has been added to the settings menu, improving navigation, while new accessibility and interface categories make the game more user-friendly. Players can also preview new desktop backgrounds, such as the newly introduced "Black Light Studio" background.




4. Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements:


The update addresses various bugs, particularly those related to specific truck models and trailers. For example, multiple issues with DAF trucks were corrected, such as misplaced interior buttons and incorrect lighting for the hazard warning lights. Trailers, such as those from the Kässbohrer pack, had problems with missing logos, floating components, and lighting inconsistencies, all of which have been fixed.


There were also fixes related to Special Transport DLC routes, especially the route from Dortmund to Hannover, where spawning issues and incomplete routes were resolved.


These updates and bug fixes collectively enhance both the driving and user interface experience, offering smoother gameplay and a more

 immersive trucking simulation.
